This flask came packed in peanuts in a double box....no worries on shipping in the future! The 5000mL is enormous, thing could cook up a monstrous starter or small one gallon test batches....Cheers to RebelBrewer.

I went with the 2 day shipping because I was nervous with the Christmas rush. Then the snow storm hit the day it was supposed to be delivered. Arrived Monday instead of Saturday but thanks to rebel it was even packed for a snow storm. Thanks

Rebel packed up my order of 3 Erlenmeyer flasks like they were shipping fine china. They arrived to me in perfect condition. Don't let the disclaimer about being unable to guarantee the glass scare you away.

Waited for the flasks to come off back order and had Tom and the gang ship one to me. I will have to admit that I was a bit nervous. Everything I have purchased so far has been packed very well but no insurance was spooky. Box showed up the next day and everything was packed with extra care. This is one big flask!! Can't wait to build my first larger starter!!
Thanks for the great service!!
Rebel Brewer Rocks!!

Nothing much to add other than this flask is very sturdy, and was VERY well packaged for transit. Both the flask and the customer service are top notch.

I ordered these hoping they wouldn't break during shipping. I live on the west coast, so the trek (Ground shipping) from TN was a real test. They arrived in perfect condition! I was impressed by the packing job. They really took the time to add the extra foam, etc to make sure there was maximum protection. They even wrote "fragile glass" on the outside.
I use the flasks for lager starters. I typically have an OG for my bocks around 1.090 for a 6 gallon batch. With a 2-inch stir bar and stir plate, that typically comes out to needing 3.5-4 liters of starter. These flasks handle it expertly. The glass thickness is also more than you'd expect, especially near the top.
Overall, these are highly recommended if you need room for a big starter. You can't go wrong for the price and the assurance the extra effort will be put into the packing to minimize potential for breakage.
