Typically not used for Beer or Wine. This is the yeast you need to make fuel. This one pound pack is sufficient to ferment 500 gallons up to 22% alcohol before it starts slowing down.

    This yeast is a good deal and works very well. I run it with some boiled baker's yeast as nutrient and hydrate it for about 5 min and it performs wonderfully. It'll ferment out a 1.10 SG mash in about 4-5 days. I recommend this yeast highly.

    I'm surprised that no one has written here yet. This is yeast probably one of the best if you don't mind messing with nutrients and watching the ferment closely, gets great results, never achieved 23% but have been close, never had a problem except boil over during initial fermentation.
