As with all painted caps, you will want to rinse them well before capping bottles to wash off any paint flecks.

They work like bottle caps and the price is good. The black color looks neat too.
As someone said you'll need to at least rinse them for paint chips, but I think that's true of any painted caps on the market.

I usually soak my caps in one-step and I noticed with these caps that there is a lot of black paint that chips/comes off, so be sure to pre-wash them. If you put a couple dozen caps in a small bowl, add water to cover, then with your fingers swish the caps like you are washing lettuce, then remove the caps, you'll see a lot of black paint floating in the water. Sure don't want to get this in your beer. Most painted caps I've used do this to some extent, but not quite this bad.
