Our 28mil thick gloves are 3 to 4 times thicker than household gloves.
These elbow length gloves are standard issue in commercial breweries for protection against burns, chemicals and for sanitary handling of equipment.
They are the only way to reach down into a bucket of sanitizer or cleaning chemicals.
Our industrial grade brewing gloves are standard issue in commercial breweries! We've been using them for years and wouldn't brew without them. Why?
Sizing Guide: Gloves are available in M (size 8), L (size 9), and XL (size 10). To select your size, measure the circumference of your hand at the knuckles using a flexible fabric tape or a piece of string in inches. That measurement corresponds with the glove number size. For half sizes, round up to the next size. For example, of your hand measures 8.5", select the size 9 glove. For 8.25", select the size 8 glove. The Large should fit most people.

No, you will not look cool with your brew buddies wearing these gloves. In fact, you will resemble a veterinarian. But, they are great gloves for home brewing. I sunk an item into my boil keggle and at a full boil I was able to dash in and retrieve the item wearing these gloves. I wouldn't say to take a bath in boiling water wearing these, but in and out and no burns.
****NOTE: Rebel Brewer recommends that you not ever stick your arm into boiling anything, gloves or not.

These gloves are great for dealing with large amount of water, hot surfaces, and extended scrubbing. They are a little awkward, however in my experience that is the norm with gloves. To make these perfect I just need to get some cloth under gloves to catch any sweat produced while using them.
I recommend them to prevent burns, dry or irritated skin and to allow you to clean easier.
