The newest member of the Maltster's Reserve Series was developed specifically for Black IPAs, Schwarzbier and other dark colored beers that long for color without bitter or harsh flavors. Velvety dark and enticing as the midnight sky, Midnight Wheat Malt is the third seasonal malt in our Maltster’s Reserve Series. Intensely deep in color, Midnight Wheat Malt surprises the palate by delivering exceptionally subtle, smooth flavors. Midnight Wheat Malt is made from Wisconsin Wheat. Characteristics include:

• Color addition with subtle, smooth flavor
• 550º Lovibond
• No bitter, astringent, dry flavors or aftertaste
• Starts slightly sweet
• Mild roasted/chocolate/coffee flavors
• Finishes exceptionally clean
