Loading... Please wait...Munton's CarbTabs - 250 count
One of my brewer friends suggested we add this to the catalog, so, here you go, Jim.
If nobody buys these, I hope you have alot of beer to bottle.
For "normal" carbonation, just drop 4 tablets in each bottle when filling (use 3 for less carbonation, 5 for more).
Allows consistant control and the opportunity to only bottle a few.
Contains Dextrose, Dry Malt Extract and Heading powder (the same ingredients as Kreamy X).
Contains enough tablets to carbonate just over 60 bottles.

I tried these in a small batch of homemade cider, worked purdy good! But, there was some smutz floating around in the top of the bottle, but it dropped to the bottom after being in the 'fridge overnight. For cider I use only two or three tabs per bottle.

I use these and they are great. But you have to be a good brewer to begin with. I read other reviews about Dissolving and leaving things floating in their bottles. If you make a good wort and use a good yeast and nutrient, you will never have a problem with these tabs. I filter all my Brews into the secondary, and filter again into the primer. They are great.

I keg my beers but tried these hoping they'd make bottling a 6 pack a little easier. I've only used them once but will never again. No huge loss and definitely worth a shot but these just don't work.

I have used these in quite a few beers and I have no complaints. They allow you to carbonate to any level desired by adding 3 tabs for low, 4 tabs for medium, and 5 tabs for high carbonation.

Problem: I have extra wort, fermented it in a gal jug and want to bottle it, or I have a specialty ale or experimental batch that is not an exactly 5gal.
Solution: Pre measured priming tabs. Avaliable from the guys at "RebelBrewer". Thanks Tom.
Don't rely on them for basic bottleing. Depend on them to keep from pouring beer down the drain.

I had high hopes for these when I saw them but it's been about 2 weeks since I've bottled and they appear to have left undisolved pieces floating the top. There was nothing in the directions about disolving them first but who knows? They did produce very consistent carbonation throughout various bottle sizes but I'm still having trouble getting past things floating in my beer...

I dont bottle anymore cause of kegging, YAY!!
but its nice to bottle a few bombers when you fill the keg, makes it really easy to fill. and just dropping a few of these in the bottles and waiting only a week you get perfect carbonation with minimal sediment.
I havent used any other "tabs" but after reading reviews on the others I went with these and was more then happy with them in my N.English Brown and my all Magnum IPA.
