Being a huge fan of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and other APA's I thought I would try this for my first 5 gallon batch. To make it similar to SNPA I dry hopped with an ounce Cascade. I cheated and tasted it a little early (less than 2 weeks in the bottle) and it was awesome! My family came over and we compared some to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and they liked my beer better, and I would have to agree! Can't wait to see what it's like after more time in the bottle!

American Pale Ales are my personal favorite. I have found many that I like from Victory's "Headwaters" APA to Sierra Nevada's APA. The Batch that I made from Rebel's kit is reminiscent of that served at Blackstone in Nashville, TN. Lovin It!

As Rebel can attest I've brewed this beer a number of times. It always goes over well when I've served it at get togethers. This one will please the hop heads while still approachable to the Bud crowd (a few really enjoyed it). It's a good kit for beginners. I add a whirfloc tablet around 10 min left in the boil to help with clarity.

This Ale turned out better than I could have hoped for. Just the right amount of hops and finishes with a hint of sweet fruity flavor. Great beer!

The first thing you notice about this Ale is it's nice floral nose. Then the taste...Fruity, Nice hoppy flavor and a mild bitternes. The beer is clean tasting for an ale.
This is a good sit down and watch the game beer!

I let this one sit in the fermenter for just over a week, then 2 weeks in the secondary. I waited a week to enjoy after bottling and man is this a good Pale Ale. I thoroughly enjoy this beer!
