I have 2 of these and they work great... unless you are a dumbass and drill too big of a hole!

It worked okay for my first brew. The next time I brewed, it was leaking ever so slightly so I taped it up with all manner of adhesive. The third time, it was leaking through the tape. I was also using a round mash tun. Today I purchased a rectangle cooler, figuring that it may just be the only way to alleviate the headaches this thing has caused. Nope. It leaks even more. I have bought every kind of tape and seals I can reasonably afford in an attempt to fix a piece of equipment such as this... and it just leaks.

I attached it, and everything works fine. I had a 54qt Igloo in the house and figured I'd try it out before buying a more expensive kit. My Igloo cooler is rectangular and doesn't leak when flexing the outside. I hand tightened it and it didn't leak so the seal works really good without even needing tools.
It's heavy and heavy duty so it seems like it's made of quality parts. If you have a hardware store that sells the parts you can just make it yourself, but the ones I go to aren't very helpful, are usually missing parts, and don't carry much stainless steel.

I installed and tested this today (along with the thermosight - which I also left a review for). The slightest bit of flex on the outside, and it leaked everywhere. I was using a Rubbermaid round cooler - maybe a cube/rectangular cooler would offer flat surfaces and work better?
