  1. These are TERRIBLE....Leave them for me and I'll takre them off your hands

Posted by davem on 6th Feb 2012

Seriously, these hops are the worst I've EVER brewed with. That's why I continue to sit here and sniff a glass of IPA that my brewbud dreamed up and somehow calls it a wheat beer. I figure the hops will ONLY get better if I keep brewing with them. It's not a wheat, but turned out more a fantastic IPA. Wow, this hops smells nice. I even dry hopped another IPA with them and it's even better. We decided to brew this again and use the FF, but I told him stop calling it a wheat beer. Don't buy these, cause I want them all!

  2. STOP reading buy these now

Posted by Aaron Schecter on 26th Jul 2011

seriously stop reading this and buy these while you can.. Rich citrus and floral bouquet and really strong but not overpowering ( I'm a hophead so I may be biased) great for barleywines and Ipa / imperial ipa as well as anything your brew kettle may want to create and combine. awesome highly reccomended !!!

  3. Falconer's Flight IPA

Posted by J. Sherm on 14th May 2011

These are the worst hops on the market... okay, I only said that so there are more for me... These are actually unbelievable hops. I did an IPA using only Falconer's Flight hops and I cannot get enough of the hop bouquet. I dry hopped with 2.5 oz (after bittering of 70IBU), which was a challenge using pellets, but the outcome was more than I could have imagined. Great hops!

  4. I did a Gumabllhead clone with Falconer's Flight hops

Posted by Matt Ney on 14th Apr 2011

I did a clone of Three Floyd's Gumballhead with these and used Cry Havoc yeast which is Charlie Papazians house strain -WOW!

The aroma was like ripe peaches -so fruity and juicy in aroma. When you taste the result of brewing with FF they flavor blows you away with lots of mango, pineapple and citrus like tangerine, but never really reaches a sharp grapefruit-like bitterness. I only used 6oz and it completely fills the beer with juicy hop flavor -Highly recommended!

  5. Heaven must smell like this!

Posted by Summy on 11th Apr 2011

These hops are everything advertised and more. I used them in a Black IPA and it is fantastic. I bought five more ounces.

  6. IPA Heaven

Posted by Marc on 29th Mar 2011

I brewed an Imperial IPA using the FF and centennial along with the Pac-Man yeast. I am a big fan of chinook in my IPA's. The Falconer's Flight is similar yet, smoother, less intrusive flavor. I will be using this again and again...

  7. Grapefruit Bomb!

Posted by Ben Pugh on 8th Mar 2011

I brewed up a American wheat using only Falconers Flight hops and the aroma and flavor are awesome! It is the most upfront grapefruit aroma and flavor i have seen in any hop. The bitterness is nice and is not harsh at all. Will be using them quite often if they stay available. Thanks for the heads up on this one Tom!

  8. Fantastic Flight

Posted by Max on 4th Mar 2011

Just cracked open my first Falconers flight IPA last night. It was fantastic... Here's what I did with them in a 5 gallon batch.
10 lb Malteurop 2-row (Which I got here for $0.75/lb which is also AWESOME!)
    1 lb Munich
    1 lb 40L Crystal
The HOPS: All falconers Flight, they are great for bittering and aroma.
    I used 1 oz @ 60 then .5 oz each @ 40, 30, 20, 10, and flameout.
Next time I'll dry hop it too for more of that wonderful aroma.

  9. Falconer's Flight

    Posted by MarkG34 on 27th Jan 2011

Really nice hop! True to the descriptions above. I used 3 additions of Falconers in the boil, 1oz at flame off, 1oz in the whirlpool and dry hopped with two more oz in my imperial IPA and am in hop heaven! The aroma is fantastic and flavor is really nice. My grain bill has carapills in it allowing me to add a lot of hops and end up with a balanced flavor. Great hop and good cause.
