Studies have shown that it can actually IMPROVE your head retention in the finished beer.

This 2 ounce bottle should last up to 36 batches or more depending on usage.

This makes boiling starters in a flask easy!
Posted by Rich on 22nd Apr 2010
I just started using this stuff and I love it. For yeast starters, I used to have to decide whether to fill my erlenmyer flask to capacity and blow off alot of yeast or make a smaller starter than I wanted to in a larger flask. Now I make the size starter that I want to regardless of how much it fills the flask. With this stuff, I do not lose any yeast out the top. I don't think I'll be able to brew without this stuff going forward.

as everyone has stated, BEST STUFF EVER!!!
you are crazy if you dont at least use this when you make a starter, they boil over so freaking easy.
In the kettle is even better, I can now do a full hard rolling 7gal boil in a 8gal pot with no issue nor concern.

For a brewer who occasionally does 6.5 AG boils in a 7.5 gal pot on the stove, this product has obliterated any headaches and worries I have - spray bottle in hand, adjusting heat, stirring, and whatnot.
The reduction in violent fermentation is just an added bonus. Best $4 I ever spent.

This is the best stuff ever invented for a brewers arsenal. Starters never boil over even in erlenmeyer flasks. Boil overs in your brew kettle become a thing of past no more standing around one hand on a gas regulator the other on the spray bottle. Now we start the flame put the Fermcap in and can safely walk away. Do yourself a favor get this an try it you'll never brew without it. I promise.
