It will roast enough beans in one batch for about 24 cups of coffee or about 3 days worth at our shop.
We tested the I-Roast 2 in our test kitchen and had a few things to share with you.
Pros: Made incredible coffee right out of the box just using the Preset 2 button.
Programming our own custom roast was easy (we like it dark)
Cons: The blower fan in it sounds like a vaccuum cleaner, luckily it only takes about 15 minutes.
It does put out a smell while it is roasting, there was no smoke, but it set off our smoke detector.
We would suggest doing your roasting on the porch or in the garage. Although it does come with
an attachment to hook up a standard flex hose from a clothes dryer to redirect output out the window.
Overall Impression: With its ease of use and quality of results, we would highly recommend the I-Roast 2 to anyone
who enjoys coffee and is thinking about roasting their own.
