Loading... Please wait...39 feet of wort chilling copper.
Decimates 5 gallons of boiling hot wort in minutes*.
AND holds its own against 10 gallons.
Comes with 14ft of vinyl tubing.
One end has a garden hose fitting which will
fit your garden hose (duh) or your faucet adapter on your sink.
19" of clearance to the goose-necks. Accomodates most brewpots (fits up to the 15 gallon Boilermaker).
Just (carefully!!) lower the chiller into your boiling wort 15 minutes before the end of your boil to sterilize.
Make sure and protect the vinyl tubing from the heat source, vinyl will melt.
At the end of your boil, cut off the heat and start the water flowing through the chiller (the water coming out
of the chiller at first will be very hot and will kill your grass). Cover your pot as best you can with the lid.
Stir occasionally and monitor the temperature and you will be surprised at how fast it comes down to pitching temp.
*alright, maybe more than "minutes"...could be 20 minutes
depends on your water temperature. If your tap water is too warm
you may want to add a pre-chiller like our very own Chinchilla.

I'm a rookie homebrewer that just finished my fourth batch. My third was a lager that was a pain to cool for proper pitching.
This chiller works very well and chilled my 5 gallons of wort from 150 to 70 in less than 10 minutes.
It hooks up to your garden hose and shoots water out the other end. Bonus: Use the expelled water to clean equipment while it chills your wort!
