Kit includes 2 cans of malt extract, grain, boiling & finishing hops, yeast, water salts, priming sugar (for carbonating)
oak chips, caps and easy to follow instructions.

Have had great success with this kit. I also add 1/4 oz cascade after malt is back to boiling and 1/4 oz for dry hop.

Clean and crisp ale. Use the nottingham yeast. Ordered 3 kits worth of these again they are that good

I have made this kit twice (so far) and would have to say it is a top notch ale. I dry-hopped it with cascade (not included in the kit) and it smells and tastes great. This brew is perfect for serving to friends and family who may not have the palate for hoppier varieties (such as the more expensive double IPA).
A friend (fellow home brewer) and I just did a side by side comparison with Sierra Nevada’s Harvest Fest, Torpedo Ale (IPA) and their Anniversary Ale (IPA). I know it sounds crazy, but we both liked this kit much better! The Nevada’s were much hoppier – but they comparatively seemed unbalanced? I’m sure that a true beer snob would explain how these award winning brews are superior to what I make in my basement, but for me I much prefer the True Brew…and I think that the IPA may be my current favorite. I have also made the True Brew California Common, Pilsner, Pale Ale and Coopers I.P.A. and Lager (listed in best to worst order).
