First off, this thing is quality. The valve alone is worth the price, in my humble opinion. It's comprised of about half a dozen different parts, all stainless. It can take a bit of monkeying to get installed, as you have to thread the ring nut onto the stainless nipple to create the bulkhead, and then piece everything together from there, but in the end it works flawlessly and without leaks. It is also worth noting to that mine does not "wobble" as you might expect something with two silicone o-rings to do. It's rock solid.
The two points that I would note are that if you have any issues installing this at ALL, your default course of action should be to call or email Rebel Brewer. These guys will set you up right. Mine was a little goofy in its construction and before I could say "well how does this.." they had me setup right.
Also of note, if some blithering idiot were to, say, drill a 1" hole instead of 7/8" this valve should still work just fine. The smaller of the two o-rings will end up being squished into the extra space, but if you put the larger of the two on the outside of the kettle, the whole thing just works beautifully.
Moral of the story: buy this, ask for help if you can't get it to work.
Cheers!

Great piece of equipment for the money. Easy to install (once you purchase a 7/8" step drill bit) and it works immediately no questions asked. Heavy duty material, stainless so there is no rusting, what else could you ask for. I have three kegs all using the weld-b-gone and none of them leak even after almost a years worth of use.
Happy Home Brewing!
