Tried this stuff out on a Pale Ale, and it was great to work with and made an excellent beer. I certainly do recommend this malt. Also used it on an IPA and soon on a stout.
So do not hesitate on this malt.

This is a great base malt for any style calling for 2-row pale malt. I was skeptical at first but after a kolsch, ESB, and stout, this malt has been great. It's pretty light and lets the specialty grains really come through. I mean there are times I only want Marris Otter, but for most of my beers this malt has done very very well.

In case you are undecided at this point I would like to share this with you. I have used this as my base malt in 3 different styles now with 100% success. This malt is very versatile and yet extremely dependable. Thanks to all of you at RB from all of the soldiers at Fort Bliss TX. It was also very nice meeting Tom at the Big Brew in El Paso.

I brew in gallons to grow my experience w/out wasting too many ingredients on the odd batch I regret. I have used this base malt in a dozen brews, at the same time, using briess and castle base malts. I can't tell them apart. Love the price and can find no fault with the malt. I'm glad I discovered Rebel.

So far I've used for an ESB which I am as happy with as any I've made previously using Rahr or Briess. I've stayed with these two since I haven't noticed any appreciable difference using English malts. In addition, my most recent Belgian Ale made with this grain was fabulous-even better than the previous one using Belgian pilsner malt, Even after shipping costs, the price of this malt cannot be beat. If I was local, I'd probably go to rebel and fill the back of my truck at this price!
