Put on your kilt and put a haggis on the stove, light up your stereo with the pleasant sounds of the bagpipe. All you will need is a great Scottish Ale and this kit is exactly that. Similar to their English Pale Ale counterparts but with less hops, which allows the malt flavors to shine. Deep amber in color, this kit will transport your spirit straight to the highlands.

First things first, I had Tyler make this a Wee Heavy at about 10% abv. I let it ferment and sit in primary for 5-6 weeks. I then kegged it and it has sat for 3 weeks....After tasting the beer, I have to say that of all the commercial high gravity beers I have tried, this is my favorite. It is very malty with no alcohol bite. It has a nice bronzish color and a warming alcohol finish. I highly recommend this brew! Now I just have to try to let it age for a few months.
