Rennet is an enzyme that makes warm milk coagulate. It is used in almost all cheesemaking.
One strip of tablets will coagulate 40 gallons of milk.
One half tablet will coagulate 2 gallons of milk in approx. 45 minutes.
(When using homogenized/pasteurized milk you may need to use a little more)
Our rennet tablets are vegetable derived (Contains no animal products)
If you keep the tablets in the freezer they will last for 5+ years. We store them frozen here at the warehouse.
It's ok to ship these at room temperature, but you should throw them in the freezer when you get them.
