Usage: Bittering (and flavor and aroma)
Description: Very unique pine-like aroma with grapefruit and pineapple notes.
Low Co-humulone level (17%) makes for a very clean bittering.
Known as a bittering hop with good aroma characteristics.
Typical Beer Styles: Pale Ale, IPA.
Origin: US
Typical Alpha Acid: 11-14%

The first can of Pine Belt Pale Ale (Southern Star Brewing, Conroe Texas) I got my hands around immediately brought me the first "new" thing I've discovered in the world of hops in years. "Freshness" says it all.
