north of the English border claim that its sweet, clean flavor is superior to Maris Otter. Golden Promise malt

    I wanted to make a Timothy Taylor Landlord clone, so I needed the Golden Promise. Rebel Brewer had it at a good price, and the malt looked and smelled pretty damn good when it arrived. Brewed with British hops and West Yorkshire yeast, and it came out extremely well. A rich and malty pale ale/ ESB. If you are bored with crisp and dry hop bombs, then this is the opposite and worth trying. Yum!
