The original TopTier™ burner lit the brewing world on fire in 2009 with the first burner made specifically for the needs of the homebrewer. No wonder it became the best selling and most respected homebrew burner in the market. Never resting, our team of beer Engineers and avid homebrewers just reinvented what a burner should be. Efficient, fast, and versatile. That new burner is appropriately named HellFire™!
This dual mode capability burner is unlike anything else on the market and is sure to satisfy all your heating needs. No wonder it is patent pending! This custom made burner is tuned to operate in high efficiency mode, and also in a second high power mode. In the high power mode, you’ll be amazed with 140,000BTU/hr output for blazing fast heating – double the power of our previous burner. And significantly more power than anything else on the market. Waiting for a boil is now a thing of the past. In the high efficiency mode, you’ll get 80,000 BTU/hr and superb heat transfer to the wort and whisper quiet operation. Plenty of power to keep a rolling boil on a 20 gal batch of beer. Even our efficiency mode has significantly more power than the competition! To top off all that power we include a patent pending heat shield to keep that massive power off your valve and thermometer and direct it to your wort.
The HellFire Burner™ stand burner can also bolt right up to the TopTier™ Modular Brewing Stand. (Click here for info on the Top Tier Stands that we have available)
• Dual mode capability; high power mode and high efficiency mode. Simple operation – just crank up the gas and adjust the damper for more power! High efficience is simply a nice clean burn where the flames do not lift off the nozzles. Heat transfer to the wort is effective and amazingly quiet. If you’re in a big hurry crank up the gas and open the damper to let more air in – not as efficient or quiet but is super fast!
• 140,000 BTU/hr in high power mode, 80,000 BTU/hr in efficiency mode
• Patent pending clip-on heat shield keeps that massive amount of heat off your valve and thermometer and directs it to your wort.
• Infinitely adjustable kettle retaining bars accomodates kettles up to 19.75″ in diameter
• Non-rusting, fume free heavy gauge stainless frame
• Excellent outdoor flame stability (not suitable for indoor use)

My turkey fryer takes 90 minutes to bring 12 gallons of wort to boil, this burner takes 21 minutes! It almost boiled over! I am very impressed with the flame distribution and stability of this stainless steel tank of a burner! I am only on my first boil with this baby, but am looking forward to my extra 2-3 hours of free time per brew day that this unit will save me! I’ll never go back to a turkey fryer! I bought the extension legs and had the unit set up and burning within 15 minutes.

What a difference this burner is to my old burner. It takes half the time to heat .This thing is like a jet afterburner! I thought it might burn a hole through the bottom of my kettles LOL. The flame adjustments are terrific too! From wide open to hardly a visible flame without the flame going out. This burner far exceeded my expectations. I also purchased the leg extensions and now no more hot deck. Also it gets the kettle high enough for a good gravity feed to prime my march pump. I love that its made of stainless steel, No Rust! If you buy one I promise you won’t regret it.

Best burner ever!!!

This burner is everything you want it to be. As stated earlier I would like to reiterate this is a bit tricky to light for the first time. Burned all the hairs off my hand. Light carefully and quickly once you get the gas flowing. Open the gas up just a bit to get it flowing and then using a long lighter, ignite it as fast as you can. Be safe, happy brewing

Amazing how fast this sucker heats up my brew kettle. I went from 40+ mins to boil with my turkey fryer burner to about 20mins or less with this one. Would have 5 stars except it toasted my deck. For being a floor model they should try to keep it slightly more elevated so as to not heat the underside that hot. Now my deck has a permanent dark spot. I know they have legs that are optional…but I’m pretty sure it’s a must have now and they should just include them in the price instead of making them an “accessory.”

This burner is outstanding! High Quality and top notch performance. Worth every penny!!!

This is the best upgrade I have made to my system yet. Outstanding benefit per dollar ratio. As others have stated when coming from a turkey fryer high pressure burner to to this is so nice. Much faster to boil. More even heat over a wider area of the kettle bottom. Good control of heat. The well thought out adjustable kettle retainers/arms are excellent. The unit is nice and stable with good wide “feet/legs”. Stainless is a huge bonus as well. Even stored indoors my old turkey fryer was covered in rust. I did not get extensions since I will be mounting this to a stand.

Like many others I upgrade from a turkey fryer burner to this. It is like going from an old beat up Ford Pinto to a brand new Escalade. The time it takes to bring my mash water up to temperature is half of what it was before. I forgot to time it, but my wort was up to a rolling boil faster than I had imagined possible. My old burner use to leave a thick layer of soot on the bottom of my brewpot. Blichman burns clean and efficient, no soot what so ever. I also purchased the extended legs, which I think should come standard, but oh well.

The quality on this burner and the leg extensions is great. With the burner flame adjusted as directed you get absolutely no soot on the bottom of your kettle, very clean operation. The power of the burner was just as fast as the big banjo burner I used to use which is 210,000 BTU, this burner is somewhat smaller but way more efficient and seems to achieve similar results in performance but has a way better fidelity on regulating the temperature compared to the old banjo.

This was my first burner as I am new to brewing, but I must say this has worked out very well for me so far. I decided to go with the natural gas conversion kit as well (I did my own black pipe work near my water heater supply line), and am glad I did. No propane runs like I would have to do for my grill, and the needle valve that comes with the kit works great for adjusting the flame. Got 7 gallons from 130ish to boiling very quickly and I had to turn the burner way down due to the aggressiveness of the boil (didn’t want to evaporate too much – even though I still had about 1.5 gallons go in an hour). Very quiet. Very solid construction, a lot bigger and heavier than I imagined.

Researched this for two years trying to decide which burner to upgrade to been using SQ 14 then decided to go to 10 Gallon batches this thing is sweet heats up water super fast and super quiet {BBE} Best Burner Ever

I bought this burner about 6 months ago, I currently have about 10 brews under my belt with it. Burner is very efficient, I get about two more brews/propane tank. It heats up my 6.5 gallon boil easily, maybe 8 minutes from 150ish-boil. Very quiet when running, I can easily hear music in the background now which is nice. Keeps a very steady boil with minimal flame.
Peter (verified owner) –
It took a bit to justify spending the extra dollars. So glad that I did. The regulator makes for a very accurate adjustment of the flame. I had to back off the heat for a rolling boil (it was too aggressive a boil on full). Definitley would buy again!
Craig Schmidt –
Poor quality control. Burner sent with a obvious issue when the burner was cast. Looks like they tried to just weld it versus tossing it. Disappointing at this price point.

Craig, can you send pictures? Those burners aren’t cheap and we want to make sure you are happy with your purchase… We can work with you to get a replacement.
