After brewing with liquid yeast for a few years, I was sceptical of any dry yeast, but this yeast changed my mind. It is easy to use and produces execellent results! No need for a starter, simply pitch directly into your wort. It falls out nicely and produces a crisp clean brew. Great for my pale ale and I’m even going to try it on some of my other recipes.

If you brew then you should ALWAYS have this yeast around. Having a pack around can either save your brew day or is great for that spontaneous brew session. I would always keep a pack or 2 in case your fermentation doesnt take off etc… But most of all no starter required. The perfect yeast for IPAs or Double IPAs too. All you need for those is something to consume sugars, this is much cheaper than liquid to do the exact same thing

I know of a MicroBrewery that only uses this exclusively for all of their ales (IPA, Amber, Stout, Scottish, etc.) I always have a pack on hand.

I kept a packet around “just in case”. Decided to use it on an Octoberfest style ale – super results! Clean, balanced malt and hop flavor. Fermented in 7 days, filtered and kegged, drinking in 2 weeks after cold lagering. The best!

Fast action, ferments moderately dry. Low esters. Makes for a very neutral yeast that highlights the rest of your beer. Always my first choice for IPAs.

Just like all above have said, great yeast that I always have on hand. It has saved more than one batch that didn’t take off with “premium”, i.e. liquid yeast. Unbeatable for IPA’s and session ales.

I use one packet pitched at about 70 degrees in my primary. Kicks in within about 4-6 hours, and by 12 hours there’s a 1-2″ kruesen (sp?). Finishes clean and dry, but not too dry. Always keep this on hand, always. 🙂
